The spirit of Mardi Gras fills the air, and amidst the excitement, two best friends, Red and Krissy, find themselves caught in a whirlwind of family drama. Each girl belongs to a rival Mardi Gras Krewe, a tradition they cherish despite the friendly rivalry. The tension escalates when Red’s stepdad, in a fit of anger, kicks Krissy out of their home. Red, fiercely loyal to her friend, confronts her stepdad, threatening to quit Mardi Gras if he doesn’t make amends. Faced with the prospect of losing his stepdaughter’s participation in the cherished tradition, Red’s stepdad reluctantly reaches out to his rival, Tony, initiating a fragile truce. The issue goes far beyond Mardi Gras and the girls, as Tony confesses he’s not getting any from his wife, and he confesses that he would abandon his aggressive ways in a blink of an eye if he got some from his rival’s stepdaughter.
